Traffic Safety Class
Keep Citation Off Your Driving Record
The court clerk may be able to offer a traffic safety class in order to keep the citation off your driving record. You must meet certain requirements; if you do not meet those requirements, the clerk cannot offer you the class. To check eligibility, contact the court clerk at (503) 674.6210.

Goal & Purpose
The course objective is to reduce motor vehicle collisions and to change the driving behavior of drivers who have committed a traffic related violation.

Course Description
The traffic safety course focuses on the following areas:
  • Alcohol and driving
  • Common causes of collisions
  • Course eligibility / times
  • Defensive driving techniques
  • Oregon traffic laws
  • Reconstruction topics
  • Road rage / aggressive driving
  • Vehicle dynamics

Course Time 
The course is generally held on a Thursday evening between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm at:

Fairview, OR 97024

Bring to Class
Students must bring a valid driver’s license and/or identification card to the class. You are required to check in to the class 15 minutes prior to the start time of the class.
