National Night Out

2024 National Night Out | Tuesday, August 6

Every year, National Night Out (NNO) is celebrated by as many as 38 million people across the country on the first Tuesday in August. The goal of this event is for neighbors to gather, get to know each other and build a sense of community—one where neighbors look out for each other and work together to make their neighborhoods safer.

Get Involved

To participate, you can host a gathering that brings your neighbors together on your street — whether that’s a block party, cookout or an ice cream social. Be creative and do something that will be fun and celebratory!

Register Your Event

NNO organizers hosting events in the City of Fairview are encouraged to register the event with the City.  The first five (5) registered events may request deputies from the Multnomah County Sheriffs Office (MCSO) to visit their parties. Registered events are also eligible to receive a swag bag from the City filled with some fun party items and public safety resource information. The deadline to register is July 19.

Registration opens July 1.
